Job Overview:

We are hiring a Golang Developer (Contract) for our leading Banking & Financial Services client in Phoenix, AZ. The developer will be responsible for building secure, high-performance, and scalable backend services that power mission-critical financial applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Golang-based backend applications and APIs (REST/gRPC).
• Design microservices for large-scale banking/financial transaction systems.
• Implement secure coding practices ensuring PCI DSS, SOX, and data privacy compliance.
• Integrate with core banking systems, payment gateways, and third-party vendors.
• Build event-driven solutions using Kafka/RabbitMQ.
• Deploy and monitor services in cloud environments (AWS/Google Cloud Platform/Azure) with Docker & Kubernetes.
• Work with cross-functional teams (Business, QA, DevOps) in an Agile setup.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of backend development, minimum 2+ years in Golang.
• Strong background in Banking/Financial domain systems (payments, digital banking, lending, cards).
• Hands-on with transactional systems, concurrency patterns, and distributed architecture.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Redis).
• Strong knowledge of security, encryption, and compliance standards.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes.
